A Mini-Beast Menagerie
Cafe Racer hosts a fundraiser to offset medical costs for local musician and bug chef David George Gordon, who recently suffered a stroke. There's a silent auction, and original illustrations from Gordon’s Secret World of Slugs and Snails and Eat-a-Bug Cookbook will be for sale. The benefit starts at 6pm.
Cooking Class with Rachael Coyle, author of Jerusalem: A Cookbook
Hummus, roasted butternut squash, roasted chicken with clementines and arak: Learn to make these dishes and more during this evening with author Rachael Coyle. The demo is limited to 10 students and takes place at Book Larder from 6:30 to 9.
Breakfast Via Bike II
“Show up on a bike and breakfast is on us,” promises Skillet Street Food. The airstream trailer is teaming with Via6 Apartments in celebration of the opening of Velo Bike Shop in downtown Seattle. Pedal over to McGraw Square between 7:30 and 10 and choose between chicken and waffles or a breakfast sandwich or burrito.

Winemaker Dinner at Koral Bar and Kitchen
Bellevue’s Koral Bar and Kitchen is hosting a winemaker dinner with David “Merf” Merfeld of Northstar Wines. Call Koral at 425-623-1125 to reserve a spot for the five-course dinner beginning at 6. The $75 fee includes wine pairings.

Dinner in Paris

Airways Brewing Third Anniversary Party
Kent-based Airways Brewing Company introduces 16-ounce cans for its new Oatmeal PSA and Pre-Flight Pilsner, plus a limited edition anniversary brew. The party takes place at the brewery’s tap room from 2 to 7 and will feature giveaways and food from Lumpia World.
