And here you thought H&M only collaborated on less-than-functional hair-lock necklaces and bedazzled lingerie. The Swedish megabrand is teaming up with East London's Brick Lane Bikes for an 11-piece capsule collection that's both comfortable on the streets and good for the environment.
Each piece was designed by H&M and then tested by the cycling company to ensure usability. Brick Lane is London's premier bike shop, specializing in custom-built bikes and the latest in cycling swag.
As part of H&M's Conscious initiative, the entire collection is made from sustainable materials like recycled polyester and organic cotton, and manufactured in a way that minimizes environmental impact. Biking to work in a sustainable sweater and stylish stretch chinos—I mean can you get any more green than that?
The collaboration launches at both the downtown and U Village H&M locations starting March 7. Check out some of our favorite looks in the slide show above and watch H&M's video about the collection here.
