Pre-Thanksgiving Bash at Tommy Gun
This Capitol Hill spot is celebrating Thanksgiving the right way–with lots of brews. Starting at 5, the crew will crack open kegs of select-release beers Anderson Valley Wild Turkey stout and Oola Bourbon stout. For cocktail lovers, Oola barrel-finished gin will be served all night long. Get t-shirts, glassware, and the chance to win a private tasting at Oola Distillery. Now that’s something to be thankful for.
THURSDAY, November 28

Toro Bravo Cookbook Dinner
Popular Portland chef John Gorham of Toro Bravo is visiting the Dahlia Lounge to prepare a dinner reflecting his Spanish-inspired restaurant. Dishes from his new cookbook Toro Bravo: Stories. Recipes. No Bull will be featured in this four-course, family-style dinner, minus the two-hour waits usually required to dine at his restaurant. Tickets are $90 and include a copy of Gorham’s cookbook, dinner paired with wines, a passed cocktail, tax, and gratuity.

Tom Douglas Cookbook Social
T-Doug's annual cookbook social is back at the Palace Ballroom. Starting at 4, enjoy some bites, sip on a glass of wine, peruse plenty of cookbooks, and even meet some of the authors. Tickets are $25 and available online.
