Here are some spots, from fancy to informal, serving up their take on the classic turkey dinner (including a meatless version).
The organic three-course meal at Maria Hines's Ballard restaurant mixes Mediterranean influences with the traditions of a classic Thanksgiving dinner. Think butternut squash soup with pomegranate seeds and yogurt. For the main course you can depart from the turkey by ordering cod or vegetable ragout, but fear not, all dishes are accompanied by cornbread, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes. The destination-worthy restaurant at the Cedarbrook Lodge is serving four farm-to-table courses for Thanksgiving dinner. Chef Mark Bodinet is doing a modern take on the traditional dishes, hence you have choices like diver scallops, short ribs, or (of course) turkey, accompanied with sage stuffing and brown sugar gravy. Aqua by El Gaucho
For Thanksgiving with a stunning view, this seafood restaurant at Pier 70 is a good bet. The menu is classic: turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and candied yams. Plus the full menu is offered too, should you prefer your Thanksgiving dinner with a bowl of clam chowder. Then walk it all off next door at the Olympic Sculpture Park. 2–8pm, 206-956-9171. If a martini and a full-blown Thanksgiving feast is what you're looking for this is the spot. The cocktail lounge is putting on a full dinner menu for the big turkey day (or turkey night in this case). It’s running until 11pm so you could even stop by for a late-night Thanksgiving dinner. 4–11pm, 206-284-5003. Prix fixe: $21.
If you're near a lakefront, one of the local steak and seafood joint's three locations is bound to be nearby. A four-course meal includes the usual suspects, with some Northwest seafood in the mix. Bellevue: Noon–9pm, Leschi: 1–9pm, and Lake Union: 2–9pm. Prix fixe: $55/adults, $12/children.

The Madison Valley stalwart's 22nd vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner will feature four courses of seasonal flavors without the meat. These include vegetable consomme, stuffed acorn squash, and a cranberry cheesecake.
