Introducing DaDa Coleccion at Lambs Ear
Vintage that you wouldn't necessarily know was vintage, through Lambs Ear Shoes and elsewhere, from Ciara Ramos.
If you've found yourself daydreaming about A Detacher clogs on the Lambs Ear site instead of stopping by the Fremont shop in person, well, sure, it could just be the convenience factor. But it probably also has something to do with the fact that Creative Director (and photographer, and stylist, and model, and seer, and doer, and Les Amis collaborator) Ciara Ramos consistently gives the digital version of Angie Sorenson's real-thing a chic edge and a vaguely surreal immediacy.
The girl's got style—and a direction—and lucky for you she's bringing it to rolling racks and virtural shopping carts.
Making use of Lambs Ear's worldwide online customer base, the newly launched DaDa Coleccion will, for the most part, be a virtual shop about one-of-a-kind pieces from just about anytime, and anywhere. It's not really about snagging designer labels from the '80s, though I wouldn't rule that out. It's about tops and skirts and cardigans and more that don't feel retro per se, but rather, are just really interesting. It's about, Ramos told me, a look that's "not always super feminine, but is often really pretty."
For fall into winter: think dark neutrals like navy and olive with pops of mustard yellow. Silk, linen, leather, and velvet, and an easy, low-key way of being left-of-center and beyond the curve.
Following @dadacoleccion on Instagram would be a sort of first-in-line kinda thing; keeping your eye on the Lambs Ear vintage section is always a good idea.
Oh, and there will be pop-ups. Keep your dial right here for news of those.
