The set-up: The bar is busting out its 120-inch projector screen in the front room.
The crowd: Seahawks fans in skinny jeans. Minors welcome in the back room, where the game will be showing on a flat screen.
Rock Bottom Brewery
The deal: Opens at 9am with happy hour beer prices, so $2 off every pint. Full menu is offered.
The set-up: 22 flat screens and a 90-inch TV wall. If that's not good enough for you, how about a 120-inch projector screen? All in HD, of course.
The crowd: Most likely standing room only like last week's game.
The deal: Some vendor-sponsored specials are being firmed up this week. The sports-watching mainstay opens at 7am Sunday, two hours earlier than usual. Expect Bloody Marys and a breakfast menu.
The set-up: 18 big-screen TVs, lots of space.
The crowd: At 9:15, the same 100 people reportedly come in and settle in to their table of choice and then at 9:45, another 100 to fill up the place.
The steal: Blue and green Jell-O shots, two for $1.
The set-up: 20 55-inch TVs…everywhere.
The crowd: According to owner (and avowed fan) Marcus Lalario, “We about Capitol Hill and the people that live here."
Eastlake Bar and Grill
The deal: Happy-hour prices on pints. Check in on Facebook, and get a free order of mac and cheese balls, jalapeno peppers, or deep-fried pickles. Viewers' first Rainier beer will be 12 cents, and make sure you’re decked out in Hawks gear because the best outfit wins a $100 restaurant gift card.
The set-up: Four TVs in the bar, three TVs in the front of the restaurant, and the enclosed top deck will be open with two TVs.
The Crowd: College kids and young professional neighborhood denizens.
LTD Bar and Grill
The deal: $5 Bloody Marys and $6 touchdown shots—in other words, Absolut Mandarin dropped in Red Bull. Hurrah.
The set-up: 21 flat screens, so basically there are no bad seats.
The crowd: Mellow...until the Red Bull kicks in.
The deal: Pitchers of Bud Light for $10.
The set-up: A 12-foot projection screen in case you were squinting for the score on the neighboring13 HD flat screens. Standing room only.
The crowd: Rowdy, sweaty, loud, and wild. Not for the faint of heart. Brace yourself for so much spilled beer that you might actually feel like you’re in the nosebleed section at the Clink.
The deal: Four or five drink specials…guess you’ll have to wait until you get there to see what they are. Prizes are also given out during games…and a grand prize after the game. Last week's grand prize was a Budweiser surfboard.
The set-up: 16 flatscreen TVs and one huge projector, all HD of course.
The crowd: Mostly dudes who still like to be close to the Clink, even if the game is in Atlanta.
Buckley’s Queen Anne
The deal: No specials, just food, booze, and sports.
The set-up: Uh, TVs.
The crowd: Old souls, aka parents and their kids.
The deal: Opens at 9am. Happy hour prices on certain drinks, burgers, wings, fries, oysters(of course), or if you’re in the mood, breakfast.
The set-up: Two large projection TVs plus the TVs in each corner of the room.
The crowd: Whiskey lovers and loyal, loyal, loyal Hawk fans.
Hawks Nest Bar and Grill
The deal: $3 PBR and Rainier; $6 well drinks and $5 draft beers. Breakfast is served until the game starts at 10.
The set-up: Nine large flat-screen TVs.
The crowd: Devoted, as the name implies.
The deal: No specials really, just 24 ounce cans of beer for $7.
The set-up: 36 flat screens. Think 60 guys in spandex coming at you.
The crowd: Kids with parents…fun?
