Like Jazz? How about Paris? Every Tuesday evening starting this week at Bastille’s back bar, local trio, Djangomatics, a “Parisian-style gypsy jazz” group will hold court from 8 and 11. This conveniently overlaps with the late-night happy hour at 10.

Blue Chair Fruit: Intro to Marmalade Making
Join Rachel Saunders from Blue Chair Fruit at the Pantry at Delancey, while she demos the entire process of marmalade making. Not only do you get to taste the finish product, but you get two jars to take home. Cost is $85 and class lasts from 6:30 to 9. Call 206-436-1064 to reserve your spot.

Party with a Purpose
In the latest installment of the Kick Hunger Challenge, chef John Howie and former Seahawk Craig Terrill are putting on at a New Orleans-themed dinner at Sport Restaurant and Bar starting at 7. The menu includes gumbo, jambalaya, a Cajun-style crawfish boil, and bourbon bread pudding, and all the proceeds from the $35 tickets will be donated to Food Lifeline. Tickets can be purchased online. The restaurant will be closed for this special event.

Sunday Dinners at Tavolàta
Braised meats are on the docket for the start of the Belltown Italian restaurant’s 2013 monthly Sunday dinner series. The three-course menu includes oxtail, short ribs, and lamb shank for a max of 26 guests. Cost is $65, and dinner is served at 6. Call 206-838-8008 to reserve your seat.
