Cocktail Class at Seatown: Gin
T-Doug’s Pike Place restaurant kick starts another year of cocktail classes with a tribute to gin. For $20, Ben Capdevielle from Big Gin Distillery in Ballard will demonstrate three gin-based cocktails, and of course snacks will be available, too. The party starts at 5:30.

Studio Suppers: She She Pop and Their Fathers
Double dipping in food and the arts: On The Boards will serve dinner for opening night of She She Pop and Their Fathers, to the entire audience. But the actors aren’t cooking— it’s Ethan Stowell. Date Night: French Riviera
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and instead of going to dinner with your boo, why not make it yourself…Parisian style? Learn from chefs at the Blue Ribbon Cooking School and prepare a four-course French meal, before enjoying a waterfront view at a table for two your finished product paired with various Northwest wines. Sails and Ales
Booze and boats aren’t always the safest combination, but the Seattle Boat Show is mixing the two with no life jacket required. Between 5 and 9, S3 Maritime is sponsoring a first-ever craft beer night, where several popular Washington breweries—Elysian, Alaskan, Redhook—will pour you 10 tastings with your purchase of a $27 ticket, which includes admission to the five-day boat show. Ahoy.
SATURDAY, February 2
It’s been said that the female attendance of the Belgianfest is highest out of all the Washington beer festivals. So, guys? I’d say you’d be wise to hightail it over to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center between noon and 4, or 5:30 to 9:30 to taste the 60 plus Belgian tripels, dubbels, saisons, wits, and abbey ales made by 30 of Washington’s breweries. Tickets are $35 online or $40 at the door. A special $5 entrance fee with free water and pop all night for designated drivers.

Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Lounge’s Tenth Birthday

Free Pancakes at IHOP
