Brian Clevenger is Tavolàta's New Chef
He comes over from Serafina and Cicchetti. And yes, he'll continue Brandon Kirksey's Sunday Feasts.
More chef news from the Ethan Stowell orbit of restaurants. Brian Clevenger, who stepped up as executive chef at Serafina and Cicchetti after Dylan Giordan's departure in September, is in the kitchen at Tavolàta.
The Belltown restaurant's previous chef, Brandon Kirksey, can now be found at Rione XIII, Stowell's just-opened (and already impossibly packed) trattoria on Capitol Hill.
Clevenger, a Seattle Art Institute grad who would go on to San Fran's Delfina, isn't planning any major menu changes. And yes, he will carry on the Sunday Feasts Kirksey initiated, though a rep says the suppers "are now in Brian's hands, and that is where he will get to do his thing." He's manning next month's suckling pig dinner on the 9th, should you be eager to give his cooking a try.
