Unlike our Gaul-ish neighbors across the pond, the Warwick Hotel’s mini Paris fully embraces American turkey tradition. A proper buffet includes maple-brined turkey with dressing, as well as pineapple-run glazed pit ham, beef tri-tip, and salmon with orange and fennel. Having just recently celebrated its 20th birthday, Madison Valley’s well-regarded veggie haven hosts its 21st annual vegetarian Thanksgiving feast. A four-course prix fixe boasts guilt-free entrees like chanterelle bread pudding with cinnamon crème fraiche, and green bean roulade with root vegetable cornbread stuffing and cranberry-date Grand Marnier chutney. The Garden at The Georgian
Upgrade from the holiday's pilgrim roots by breakfasting at the Fairmont Hotel amid the towering urns of elegant indoor greenery. The Fairmont Hotel’s cozy oyster bar brings a truly nonconventional Thanksgiving meal, with entrees like turkey with spicy oyster and cornbread stuffing, or even wild king salmon smoked with honey from the restaurant’s own rooftop beehive.

Buca di Beppo
As if taking a nod from its stubborn Italian roots, this national chain does Thanksgiving its own way. Rather offering individual meals, Buca sticks to its family-style philosophy by offering two streamlined sizes of what is called the “Turkey Feast,” a full package of turkey, gravy, homemade spicy Italian sausage stuffing, and the (usual) works, with mini chocolate chip cannoli thrown in for dessert. Chef Kaspar Donier brings the most epic Thanksgiving dinner buffet you will ever encounter: two substantial entrees (turkey and ham) set the stage for 39 side dishes and the jam-packed dessert table of pies, white chocolate bars, eggnog crème brûlée, sangria poached pears, chocolate mousse and more. For those with a yen for the unorthodox, this Thanksgiving dinner will certainly satisfy. Completely vegetarian and subtly influenced by its regularly scheduled cuisine, this Chinese house-restaurant next to Seattle Center rocks the meatless feast with a low-cost menu including baked yams with pineapple and orange sauce and smoked “turkey” with cranberry and apricot sauce, but—again breaking tradition—culminating in apple pie, not fortune cookies. 11am–10pm, 206-282-6616. $16.95.
Bin on the Lake
The Woodmark Hotel’s elegant lakefront bistro brings its first Thanksgiving with chef Dylan Giordan (formerly of Serafina/Ciccheti) at the helm. Alongside the usual menu, bin will offer a special turkey cassoulet—a poultrified verson of the country French classic with turkey confit, turkey sausage, and white beans served under a breadcrumb crust with a salad. 4 – 9pm, 425-803-5595. Sleek and modern after a remodel earlier this year, the former Earth and Ocean space in the W Hotel hosts Thanksgiving with a sophisticated four-course prix fixe. Start with butternut squash soup and sautéed shrimp salad, then linger on bacon-wrapped turkey roulade with delicata squash before finishing off with a sugary pumpkin crunch. Phinney Ridge’s exquisite and saucy vegetarian hideout celebrates its 15th annual faux turkey feast with two separate vegetarian and vegan four-course, prix fixe menus, both of which are almost entirely gluten free. Vegetarians will enjoy stuffed delicata squash with pumpkin velouté and cider gastrique and amaretti financier with cinnamon apples, huckleberry sauce, and rosemary ice cream. Per its knack for American cuisine, this downtown mainstay will offer its regular menu along with a Thanksgiving special of rotisserie turkey, mashed Yukon gold potatoes, smoked bacon and sage cornbread dressing and black pepper-cranberry relish. Chef Makini Howell takes a break from her vegan food truck plans to host a totally vegan Thanksgiving dinner—family style—on Capitol Hill.
