The city council is considering legislation that would make it easier for food vendors to sell all kinds of food from mobile food trucks and sidewalk carts.

Diane Skwiercz of Street Treats argues that expanding street food will enhance the vibrancy of the city; Freddy Rivas of Rancho Bravo says that it will give mobile vendors on city rights-of-way an unfair advantage over brick-and-mortar restaurants and carts on private property.
