Editor-in-chief Katherine Koberg contributes her experience as a former deputy editor and longtime managing editor of Seattle Weekly in the ’80s and ’90s. She also spent five years as an editorial director helping to shape the books division at Amazon.com.
Eric Scigliano is Seattle Metropolitan’s news editor. As a freelance journalist, Scigliano has published work in such national publications as Harper’s, the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Discover. Scigliano is the author of four nonfiction books, including the recently released Seeing the Elephant, Puget Sound: Sea Between the Mountains (2001) and Seattle From the Air (2002).
Ariana Donalds, a New York native who will serve as the magazine’s managing editor, recently held that position for Metropolis magazine in New York, a national architecture and design publication.
Senior editor Steve Wiecking comes to Seattle Metropolitan from Seattle Weekly, where he served as an associate editor and the newspaper’s primary arts and popular culture writer. He has also written for the Stranger and has had his work published by Amazon.com and in Billboard and Instinct magazines.
Advertising director Jeff Adams is a former Sales Director at Seattle Weekly, with deep connections to the city’s arts, business, retail and education communities.
Lysa Hansen, Seattle Metropolitan’s senior account executive and strategic planning manager, is a third-generation Seattle native whose extensive career in local media includes a stint at the circus with One Reel, national sales manager at Seattle Weekly and publisher of Evergreen Monthly.
